Metro Chicago

Metro presents Metrospective from July 12 through August 3, 2012, at the Inland Steel Building (77 S Dearborn) as part of Chicago Loop Alliance’s Pop-Up Art Loop. A celebration of Metro’s 30^th anniversary, Metrospective features three decades of art, posters and photos from Metro’s archives, including never before seen work. Metrospective is free and open to the public Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm.
 
In addition to the Metrospective exhibit, there will be a variety of interactive events exploring the intersection of music and visual art, including:
 
Thursday, July 12
5 – 8pm – Chicago Loop Alliance First Thursdays gallery walk, plus special guest DJs Mister Wolf, Mother Hubbard, Greg Corner & Zebo
 
Friday, July 13
3 – 5pm - DJ Set Session with:

3 – 5pm – Photography Q & A Panel Session moderated by former Metro House Photographer Matt Carmichael, featuring panelists Barry Brecheisen, John Shearer and Kirstie Shanley

3 – 5pm – Designer Q & A Panel Session with Crosshair, Delicious Design and special guests TBA.
