The inaugural entry in the 365 days of Metro memories comes courtesy of a flyer from Alice Cooper’s 1998 Rock N’ Roll Carnival Tour. Performing at Metro on July 22, 1998, Alice Cooper and his band performed his hits including “School’s Out,” “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” and “Poison.”
Bet you expected us to post something from that first REM show, didn’t you? In fact, as owner Joe Shanahan has mentioned in recent interviews, that show didn’t happen until a little later in July of ‘82. Stay tuned…more on that to come.
