We can count on two hands (maybe even one), the number of bands who’ve played Metro at some point during each of our three decades in existence. While all of those bands hold a special place in our hearts, there’s one in particular that comes to mind today - one that has graced our stage more times than we can count and one whose name will be forever etched in the Metro history books. We’re speaking of The Smashing Pumpkins who played Metro on this day in 1992 with only one album (Gish) under their belts at the time.
