Foo Fighters play Metro on first headlining tour
Metro favorites, Foo Fighters, made their headlining debut at the Cabaret on August 5th 1995. This sold out show was part of their first major tour that took them across the U.S. and Europe, then back to the U.S. for an appearance on Saturday Night Live. Playing songs from their eponymous debut album, Foo Fighters were joined at Metro that August evening by Shudder To Think and Bare Minimum for the start of a whirlwind tour that would send Dave Grohl and company around the world well into 1996 and beyond.
