Reverend Horton Heat: 20 years on Metro’s stage
On a summer evening that started it all, Reverend Horton Heat and his band in all their psychobilly glory performed at Metro on August 14th,1992. This would be the first of many shows for the band on this historic stage. Supported that night by Goober and the Peas, The Rev would go on to take top bill at Metro several more times in the following years (and decades) including three shows in 1994 with Tenderloin, HiFi & the Roadburners, Run Westy Run, and many more. And that was only the beginning. With at least 15 more shows in the last 20 years, this is a band that has become a Metro staple.
