In 2001, we saw the beginnings of the Plea For Peace Take Action music awareness and fundraising tour. Now known as the Take Action Tour, the cause has traveled the globe alongside some of the best up-and-coming and big names in the rock & pop-punk world to raise money and awareness for a number of youth-focused charities. 

When the PFP/TAT made a stop at Metro on August 23rd, 2001, the lineup included headlining local band, Alkaline Trio (who had just released From Here to Infirmary), Hot Water Music, Cave In, Selby Tigers, The Eyeliners, and relative newcomers to the scene, Thrice.
