Not many artists are able to shoot into the spotlight with a debut album and remain there over a decade later. But that’s exactly what Daft Punk has done. Still one of the biggest electronic duos in the world, Daft Punk first came onto the scene with their debut record, Homework, followed by hit single, “Around the World” in 1997. Setting out on tour that same year, the duo played Metro on September 4, 1997.
