While Chicago punk rockers Rise Against were no strangers to Metro when they hit the Stage on September 5, 2003 the band was still in the early stages of its career. After releasing their second album Revolutions Per Minute earlier in ‘03, Rise Against played their first Metro headlining gig that night,  joined bylocal openers Haymarket Riot, Much the Same, and Break the Silence.
