Year after grueling year, it seems like Bob Mould has never stopped for a break, let alone a second to breathe. Between two bands and a solo project, Mould was juggling full plates while touring in support of his eponymous sophomore solo effort. Towering above eager fans with astounding composure and nonchalantly unleashing some infectious guitar licks, Mould brought his acerbic, riff-centric rock to Metro September 11, 1996. From caustic solo cuts to the post-punk wails of Hüsker Du’s discography to Sugar’s play nice pop releases, Mould delivered a diversified body of work to an electrified audience. Check out the gig poster for opening band Skinny (co-fronted by Jason Narducy who will play with Mould at Metro again on 9/13 and 9/14, 2012) above as well as a ticket stub from the show below.
