Upon their formation in 1987, all the Bouncing Souls wanted was to keep high school boredom at bay by playing tri-chord quickies at a dangerously high volume—they got a lot more than they bargained for. By the time they were shredding on the Metro stage on September 21, 2002 as part of the Take Action Tour, they already had four albums behind them and a collaboration album with Anti-Flag. The (International) Noise Conspiracy kicked the night off with their grudge-clutching grievances in the key of dissatisfaction. Co-piloting with East Coast punks Anti-Flag, Bouncing Souls showed that every Jersey boy packs a mean punch and an infectious riff. Need proof? Just look at their tour poster above.
