Grandson of one of the most notable country musicians in history, Hank Williams III is known for taking his version of country music back to its rebel roots. He did just that during the 2005 tour prior to the release of his third studio album, Straight to Hell (the first ever country record to come with a parental advisory warning).
The audience in attendance of Hank III’s August 16th show at Metro was a rowdy bunch, spanning from old school country fans to punk rockers. Their enthusiasm is clear in the live recording from the night. Click here to download audio files of the entire set from archive.org.
